An alarming one in three people living with HIV in the UK don't know that they're infected. It is important to get tested if you think you could be infected- the earlier someone is diagnosed the more successful their treatment is likely to be and the less likely they are to pass the virus on to others.
- You can get an HIV test at your local sexual health clinic; the test is free and confidential. Some testing centres will give you your results within hours.

- Getting people talking: We are campaigning for HIV tests to be more widely available in hospitals, GP surgeries and in the community.
